You chose us. You are the One
Who beckoned us — Come!

Showed us how to reach beyond
The moon and the stars.

It or not, You have given
Me unbounded Love.

A moment, to rest my head
At your lotus feet.

Treasure forever.

The duck, the tiger
And me, all went out for scones
And a cup of tea.

Tiger, as we sat to eat.
Don’t spoil the main treat.

Say I thought — then wise old duck
Flapped across the floor!

You, said the tiger. Relax!

This is a fancy,
Place, I thought — Tiger, let me
Fetch a knife and fork.

The tiger’s paw — the duck and
Me, sipped tea galore.

How could he betray his friends

Now and then — though he’s still not
Vegetarian.
