Sri Chinmoy begins a project to lift 1,000 lambs as part of his ‘Lifting Up the World with a Oneness-Heart’ programme. On his first lifting day, he lifts 100 three-month-old Romney Cross lambs (1-100) at the Agriculture Research farm in Whatawhata, New Zealand. Lifting four lambs at a time, he performs 25 lifts in less than one hour, for a total weight of 8,713 lbs.
