Meeting Allison Roe
The day after the marathon 26 October, Sri Chinmoy met with Allison Roe - the winner of the women's marathon. Allison from Auckland, New Zealand placed first in a time of 2:25:29. This was a women's world best time, (though the record was not officially ratified when the course was found to be 150m short.)
