Sri Chinmoy holds a picture of the plaque naming the Svinesund Bridge, which spans the strait of Svinesund between Sweden and Norway, as a Sri Chinmoy Peace Bridge.
Sri Chinmoy wrote a song in honour of the two countries entitled, ‘Sweden, Norway’:

Sri Chinmoy lifts 33 people, including Otis Davis, 1960 Olympic gold medallist (400 m); Lou Jones, 1956 Olympic gold medallist (4x400 m); and George Weah ‘African Player of the Century’ 1995 – Jamaica, NY, USA.
