WELCOME
... to SRI CHINMOY IN CONCERT.

This special concert of music for meditation composed by Sri Chinmoy is being presented in conjunction with a 700-mile non-stop relay walk through New York State entitled Aspiration-Plants and Gratitude-Leaves of New York. The walkers are offering their gratitude to New York State, where Sri Chinmoy, a prolific author, composer and artist and internationally recognised spiritual leader, has made his home since 1964.

Sri Chinmoy has given concerts and lectures at all the universities in New York State. In honour of his many significant achievements, “Sri Chinmoy Day” was recently proclaimed by Mayor Erastus Corning of Albany. A number of New York officials have written letters of appreciation to Sri Chinmoy, including Governor Carey, Senator Moynihan, Mayor Koch of New York City and several state senators and assemblymen.

Sri Chinmoy is the director of spiritual Centres and Meditation Groups in 65 cities around the world, including New York City, Albany, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse here in New York State. He also conducts twice-weekly meditations at the United Nations for delegates and staff.

You are cordially invited to join students of Sri Chinmoy for meditation in Albany: Saturdays at 1:00 P.M. Friends Meeting House 727 Madison Avenue, Albany.
