Sri Chinmoy, for the first time, employs a new technique during his single-arm lifts. Instead of holding onto the side of the apparatus, he releases his non-lifting hand — a much more difficult technique, because he is not holding onto anything. He uses this same technique with future lifts to demonstrate he is not taking any support.
